I don't have a direct relationship with Cadence. But I would call them up if you are serious about racing one of the loaner bikes. Last year Cannondale had a bunch of test bikes, some did borrow and race on them.

About those Demo BMCs
By: Wheelsucker
Tue, 11/11/2008 - 5:25pm

Hey Cadence folks: Any chance you wanna lend those Demo BMCs to folks doing Mercer this weekend?

Wed, 10/29/2008 - 4:49pm

miss my own race? are you kidding? I'll be racing C's and B's, but if any girls or older dudes (masters) want to use my bike, be my guest. i will also lend my 49 cm bike to Ryan trebon if he shows up without a bike. I'm just such a giver!

CJ not racing?
By: Wheelsucker
Wed, 10/29/2008 - 4:39pm

CJ if you're willing to lend your bike does this mean you're not racing? Will you be the one handing out bacon in the pit during the race?

Are there contingencies if spectators take the bacon preems before the racers can get to them?

Well, it sucks huge if this race is the same day than Sussex NJ Champs.

The NJ champs had been announced for the 30! WTF!!! when did they change it?

2 races within 45 minutes of each other. Not only will it reflect poorly on the attendance of both events, but WTF!!, really, shit.

We get that is hard to change. But a real effort should be made to change the date to Sunday.

You won't have to race against Roger Aspholm if he's in NJ. Sandbaggers rejoice!

Well, that was the plan...
By: jkornbluh
Tue, 10/28/2008 - 8:24am

The original NJBA schedule had originally listed States on the 30th, so we aplied for the 29th hoping to keep people in the area. Then the registration page came out and the event was listed on Saturday. Unfortunatly applying or changing a permit is not as easy as simply making a phone call, so we're on with this date.

Come to our race, you won't be let down.

Cool!
By: Wheelsucker
Tue, 10/28/2008 - 8:00am

Ugh! I love that you guys are putting on a cross race but it conflicts with NJ States at Augusta - one of the best courses around. You should do it the following day so we (I) can do both.
