The good, the bad, the silly. Schmalz italicized as usual.

- Lotsa carbon. Does anyone still care about this stuff? I am totally boinked out with Interbike.
- The new Campy shifters have an inward hook on the hoods. And it's not like logic or tech details will change anyone from being campy nuts.
- Quarq can make the iPhone work as the display for their power meter, but since Apple won't allow it, that little chip (complete with Sharpie branding) has to be attached.
- Quarq's second production run due out soon.
- LAS, now in colors! And it still looks like a gland from a space bull!
- LG, now in dimples! The helmet resembles a head-on collision with cellulite.
- Make your Pete Shweddy's Salty Balls jokes now. These were actually really really good.
- Clif hot chocolate! As we have to make everything crappy and healthy...
- Zipp's new carbon stem with ti faceplate.
- A big fat TT crankset. But all the cool kids are running SRM's. With SRM, you'll be second - but you will know how many watts it took to lose!
- Swanky TT parts. TT stuff – moving on...
- So many options for my disposable income. Oh wait... There's no way you can keep pink stuff off my bike.
- A belt drive/chain drive tandem.
- Cancellara's saddle. Will Schmalz's man crush survive the next round of testing? Hopefully Fabian won't become dead to me...
- Champion making custom messenger bags now.
- Lake's very swanky moldable shoes. Neon green goes with everything.
- Campy Hyperon, now in carbon clincher. Campy just recognized the existence of clinchers 2 months ago, and now look at them!
- The new 404's brake track, like the 808's, is no longer parallel. Instead they arc in towards the tire.
- New SRAM wheels are Flashpoints.
- Cane Creek has abandoned the road market, instead focusing on super strong track wheels.
- New Lightweights have all carbon spokes. To make unemployed finance guys really weep when they crash!
- Lightweight derailer compatible with Shimano and Campy, using different cable attachment points. Coming soon to a Parlee near you.
- Optional generator resistance unit for the Kinetic trainer, get it now before civilization collapses. Hopefully this can power my blow dryer in moments of extreme need.
- Great big flywheel makes for smoother pedaling. Once again, neon green matches everything.
- If you lean too far to one side there's no coming back on this rocking trainer. I tried to steer the bike back under me, only to find I'm riding a trainer. Neon green even matches jeans and head shine.
- It's Django with a 'D', dorks!
- Speaking of dorks. That's one impressively strong kickstand. I claimed the coveted 'ass seat'.
- Getting a shot of the cowbell booth and running off without getting the spiel is an annual rite. Take that, cowbell purveyors!
- I sweat it out in a Dutch Oven of my making.
- 70 mph downhill, very very slow uphill. The brochures strewn about this pod bike are bait for large bike industry types.
- This man is resting up before he heeds the call...
