The loss of Lemond Bikes has picked away at Trek sales (insert big smile), now Trek is hurting so the UCI wants to help them out by limiting the use of Specialized bikes (not that I'd buy either).
Does anyone think there's a connection between 2 of 3 TDF podium winners (plus World TT champ) not riding Trek this year and a ban occuring at the start of the season, well after the fall bike show releases? And the bikes are now in full production? Hmmm.
That doesn't seem like it would help Specialized's sales any? I wonder what caused such a late ban? Hmmmm.

How many athletes who are suspect of doping or not give 6 figure donations to the governing body who oversees their drug testing? On the other hand, make that any "donation" at all. Zero.
